The interior design program at Utah State University is accredited by the Council
on Interior Design Education. Students are provided with numerous experiences to help
them acquire and hone their design skills. In this highly competitive program students
must pass a first-year portfolio review to gain admission and a second-year review
to continue in the program. Opportunities available for students in the program include
a six-week internship, LEED Green Associate exam preparation, national and international
study trips led by faculty, membership in several professional student associations
and working with visiting designers annually. Our graduates enter the job market with
real world experience and go on to successful careers in the design profession.
